Arvind Kamath is an avid traveller, who made the best of opportunities available to him, by visiting world heritage sites and exotic locations around the Globe, while on official or personal trips.
Nicknamed Marco Polo by his close friends, Arvind has visited close to 30 countries across 5 continents. At one time he was living on a suitcase and wasted no time in grabbing every opportunity to travel anywhere in India or abroad.
Arvind worked for Corporates like IBM, Hewlett Packard, Infosys, iGate, Ramco, Unisys etc and being in a Consulting role, he toured extensively around the world in a span of 20+ years. He is now a Startup Entrepreneur since 2015 focusing on Culture/Heritage based Tourism and Online Education.
His passion for travel landed him in places like Kashmir (@Infosys) and Peru (@IBM) the two most exotic destinations according to him in India and abroad respectively. He however made it a point to jot down every detail during the trip, which culminated in a series of travel blogs he started writing since 2005. YaatraTales will carry the collection of his travelogues, which have been widely appreciated in the Press and various Travel fora. Some of his travelogues have won awards and have been also been published in leading dailies, journals and magazines.
Arvind is always available to help any traveller, a) design an Itinerary, b) suggest the “not to miss” sites during the travel and c) provide “Useful Tips”, out of sheer passion to encourage other fellow travellers enjoy the destination and come back to share his/her experience with others.
